BMW R1100 Gs frame

Our client wanted to wanted to go off-road riding and therefore needed to use a conventional front fork.  He wanted to remove the tele-lever suspension because of the necessary suspension travel.  We designed a new frame in such a way that the geometry of the bike basically stayed the same. The original gas tank could be used, but now a KTM frontfork can be placed. A lot of engineering went into packaging. Every component needed to go back on the new frame, so again quite challenging.
