This Honda is the second CBR 600 F2 we gave a complete makeover. This time we went for a more sporty café racer vibe. This bike was invited and exhibited at the Bikeshed Motorshow in London in 2023. We did a complete rebuild from the ground up including the following upgrades:
Swingarm
We designed and built a new chromoly tubular swingarm. Complete with eccentric chain adjusters. The dimensions are exactly the same as the original swingarm, therefor this swingarm can also be sold separately.
Subframe
A new trellis style subframe gives this bike a much younger look. Combined with the custom seat this looks much better than original.
Suspension
The original CBR600 f2 has clip-ons that are placed above the top yoke, meaning that the fork tubes protrude the yoke. We shortened the innertubes so a superbike steer could be mounted usings regular riser clamps. The front fork was serviced by HK-suspension, and at the rear a new YSS shock was mounted.
New parts
All the normally serviceable parts are replaced with new ones. New Radiator, new wheel bearings, new chain kit, new tires, new brakes, new brake lines.
Wiring
A custom wiring loom was made using AxelJoost control box! New digital speedo, new control buttons, new LED lighting. Everything works perfect!
Powder coat and paint
The entire bike was disassembled and freshly powder coated. The frame and wheels were powder coated in shiny black. All the smaller parts like foot steps are powder coated in fine structure black. And the subframe and swingarm and front calipers are powder coated in candy yellow/gold color.
